Job Description

Inspects mechanical building systems and coordinates their quality, technical testing and handover within construction projects. The role contributes to Hill International’s specialist programme, project and construction management consulting operations. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC plant, ductwork, air-handling equipment and exhaust systems.
• Check piping, plumbing, pumps, valves and drainage arrangements.
• Oversee sprinkler systems, fire pumps and other fire-protection installations.
• Review inspection requests and compare installation against approved shop drawings.
• Witness mechanical testing, commissioning and BMS checks.
• Issue NCR records, coordinate MEP interfaces and participate in snagging.
• Maintain site inspection and material-verification records.
• Document NCRs and support rectification and final snagging.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least seven years of mechanical inspection experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical building services and applicable industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pool systems, filtration and ride-hydraulics exposure is advantageous.
