1. Civil Engineer - On Job Training Program

2. Senior Material Engineer
This opportunity is with STRABAG in Muscat, Oman and is classified under Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality tests are performed correctly and evaluate laboratory testing and results.
- Conduct detailed material testing and analysis for pavement structure, construction materials and performance.
- Design and implement laboratory operations and testing procedures.
- Advise on material suitability and selection against project specifications.
- Support measurement-uncertainty estimation and implement quality-control systems to prevent deviations.
- Carry out site inspections and participate in audits.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, OHDS standards and applicable regulations.
- Provide technical advice to clients and operational teams and verify corrective improvements after non-conformities.
- Establish research procedures, propose solutions to technical problems and share technical knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10 years of construction experience.
- Very good knowledge of standards, guidelines, laws and group regulations.
- Strong analytical thinking, technical understanding and confidence with numerical work and international standards.
- Knowledge of laboratory process flows and measuring equipment.
- Experience conducting material and laboratory tests.
