Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform quality assurance on audits.
- Support delivery of practice objectives at day-to-day level.
- Communicate technical issues effectively to internal or external clients.
- Meet service-level agreements and client deliverables set out in engagement letters.
- Support seamless transition of new projects and clients.
- Plan implementation of process changes effectively.
- Proactively highlight and resolve process issues.
- Control backlogs effectively where they arise.
- Review the quality of work in detail.
Requirements, Qualifications and Skills
- Detailed understanding of core business-process cycles in banking and/or retail.
- Detailed understanding of technology touchpoints in processes and their linkage to financial reporting.
- Thorough understanding of General IT Controls, ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle, operating systems, databases and ERP analytics.
- Basic knowledge of cyber security, Business Continuity Management and emerging technologies.
- Basic understanding of data analytics.
- CISA or CISM.
- At least one to three years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in IT Advisory, IT Audit Support or Technology Risk Consulting in a Big Four environment; financial-services institution experience is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar Big Four function in a regulated environment.
- The published title explicitly states 'Omani Talent', so the standard All Nationalities default is not applied to this vacancy.
