Role Overview

The HR Business Partner acts as a trusted adviser to senior line management on HR matters, translating business needs into HR strategies that support growth, performance, diversity and compliance. The role also covers succession planning, learning and development, organisational change, workforce optimisation and HR cost management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Create the store HR strategy and annual HR plan with business and Group HR leadership.
• Communicate HR plans and progress to the HR function and business units.
• Drive continuous improvement in HR activities.
• Ensure effective induction and early productivity for new employees.
• Develop succession plans and retention strategies for key talent and positions.
• Implement performance-management plans and support performance improvement or exits.
• Coordinate training initiatives and identify development needs for high-potential employees.
• Act as a trusted business partner and coach to senior line management.
• Measure employee engagement and advise managers and HR teams on people issues.
• Facilitate organisational change and transitions.
• Support lean, multi-skilled workforce structures and business reorganisations.
• Ensure compliance with localisation policy and targets.
• Provide employee-cost reporting, run manpower budgeting and manage the HR budget.
• Provide performance feedback and lead selection, motivation, training and development of staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Management.
• CIPD qualification is desirable.
• Minimum five years of HR generalist experience.
• Previous HR Business Partner experience.
